Sink manufacturers tell you the best way to install your sink!

Firstly, most families will choose to install the above counter basin, in which the diameter of the sink opening should be larger than that of the kitchen cabinet counter top opening. The glass cement can be used for fixing during the process of the installation.

Advantages: Easy and simple to install and relatively easy to remove for later maintenance and replacement of the sink.
Disadvantages: Later cleaning is a problem. As sink sides and countertop are closed with the glass cement, the glass cement is easy to mold and the edge warp possibly occurs on the sink after somedays. Then water will leak into the cabinet along the seam.

Secondly, the mid-counter basin is also called the basin with a flat inlay style, in accordance with the size of the sink installation side. The counter top of the cabinet is sanded and runs parallel with the sink.

Advantages: More beautiful. As the sink is flushed with the cabinet countertop, it’s easy to clean.
Disadvantages: The installation process is more complicated at a high cost. The seam between the sink and countertop is possible to remain residual food and stains etc., which is not easy to clean.

Thirdly, the undercounter basin is installed under the cabinet counter top, and the counter top opening should be the same size as the inner edge of the sink, with adhesive sticking to the seam.

Advantages: Easy to clean and the water from the counter top could be removed directly into the basin. It matches the counter top well as a unity from a visual perspective, therefore, the layout is simple, beautiful and elegant.
Disadvantages: The undercounter basin is more difficult to install at a high cost, and there is a risk of falling if it is not operated properly.
